School bus catches fire in Opa-locka

Bus unoccupied when fire started, authorities say

OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – A school bus caught fire Thursday morning in Opa-locka, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said.

The fire was reported about 8:30 a.m. in the area of Northwest 37th Avenue and 151st Street.

Authorities said the bus was unoccupied at the time.

Employees at A. Oliveros Transportation said they were not sure what sparked the fire.
