MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Records show five South Florida restaurants were ordered shut by state inspectors last week for violations that pose a health hazard.

A rodent was seen running across the kitchen floor at Mom's Pizza at 10th Street and Collins Avenue in South Beach.

Roach and rodent issues were also found in several other places.

Below is a list of the places ordered shut and some of their violations. All the places listed below were allowed to re-open following ordered clean-ups and re-inspections.

"Employee washed hands with no soap. Observed multiple employees do this in the kitchen. The manager made the employees correctly wash rewashed their hands."

"Employee touching ready-to-eat food with their bare hands - food was not being heated as a sole ingredient to 145 degrees F or immediately added to other ingredients to be cooked/heated to the minimum required temperature to allow bare hand contact. Establishment has no approved Alternative Operating Procedure. Observed 2 employees cutting cooked pork bare handed. Manager corrected them and they washed their hand and put on gloves. The pork will be reheated before serving."
