MIAMI – Police are continuing to search for three Florida children last seen in the Walker, Louisiana, area in a 2014 dark blue Jeep Patriot with Florida tag #476HXS.
Police believe Erin Pena, 12, Steven Pena, 8, and Derick Pena, 7, are be with 32-year-old Carrie Weingarth, who police describe as their estranged mother, and possibly her boyfriend, Christian Coello.
Police said they believe the children were taken against their will.
Erin was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, khaki pants and gray and orange tennis shoes. He also has a birth mark on the right side of his stomach.
Weingarth (pictured, below) is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes
Weingarth and Coello have criminal histories, and both have warrants on unrelated cases. Weingarth now has a felony arrest warrant for the charge of interference with custody.
According to police, Erin currently lives with his father and has had no contact with the estranged biological mother or brothers in recent months. However, police said Weingarth entered Erin's school around 11:30 a.m. and removed him during lunch without permission.
