NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Walgreens store over the weekend in North Miami.
The robbery was reported about 6:15 p.m. Sunday at 567 NE 125th St.
Surveillance video from inside the store showed a man wearing a hoodie and dark-colored bandana over his mouth pull out a semi-automatic firearm and point it at a cashier.
The man reached into the register, grabbed a handful of cash and ran out of the store.
According to an incident report, a witness told detectives that the robber never said anything during the robbery.
Police describe the robber as a black man in his 20s, with medium-length dreadlocks. Police said he was wearing a black and red-striped hoodie with the "Polo" or "USPA" emblem on the left side of the chest area.
Anyone with information about the identity of the robber is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
