BOCA RATON, Fla. – Police said a 19-year-old male is dead after being shot near Florida Atlantic University Tuesday night.
The teen was shot at the University Park apartments at 135 NW 20th St., according to police.
Local 10 News was told the victim was a student, but it's unclear if he actually attended FAU.
Police said they are searching for at least five people, and everyone in the area was instructed to shelter in place.
No other details were immediately released.
