FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Church Communication Director Mike Miller confirmed Wednesday that a new lead pastor has been named.
The Rev. Doug Sauder will take the role that previously belonged to Bob Coy, who resigned from his position in April after confessing to cheating on his wife, which disqualified him from continuing his leadership at the church.

Sauder, who was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, was ordained to the ministry in October 2004.
He was married in 1993 at Apostolic Christian Church in Plantation and has three children.
