MIAMI – A man died after he lost control of his motorcycle on Interstate 95 and crashed late Tuesday night in Miami.
It happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Interstate 395.
Miami fire Capt. Ignatius Carroll said the motorcyclist was ejected and fell onto Northwest Third Avenue.
The impact caused the motorcycle to catch fire.

Michael Mitchell, who witnessed the crash, told Local 10 News it was "a scary moment, you know, just to see a human being lose his life like that."
A portion of I-95 was closed for hours during the crash investigation. All lanes were reopened by 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
