MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man's body was found floating in a southwest Miami-Dade County canal Friday evening, police said.
The body was discovered just before 8 p.m. in a canal along Southwest 97th Avenue.

Miami-Dade police Detective Marjorie Eloi said officers found the man floating in the canal. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death remains under investigation.
