Man wanted for sexual battery on teen girl

Detectives say man drove 16-year-old to unknown location, sexually battered her

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are trying to find a man wanted for sexual battery on a teenage girl.

The incident happened Jan. 22 after the man approached a 16-year-old girl near Boyd H. Anderson High School.

Detectives said the man engaged in conversation with the teen and then drove her to an unknown location, where he sexually battered her.

A sketch of the man was released Tuesday.

"At this time it appears to be an isolated incident," BSO spokeswoman Gina Carter told Local 10 News.

The man is described as having a Jamaican accent and was driving a mint-green, hybrid four-door car with tinted windows and a gray interior.
