So-called butt doctor heads to prison

Oneal Ron Morris surrenders to serve sentence for practicing health care without license

MIAMI – The transgender person who pleaded guilty to unlicensed buttocks-enhancing surgery has begun serving a 366-day prison sentence.

Oneal Ron Morris surrendered Tuesday morning, three months after pleading guilty to one count of practicing health care without a license.

Morris, 33, declined to answer questions on the way into the courtroom.

Police accused Morris of performing the enhancements by injecting two women with mineral oil, Superglue and Fix-A-Flat.

Because of the victims' delay in coming forward, prosecutors could not establish evidence of which chemicals or materials were used.

The sentence was part of a plea deal for which Morris avoided 15 years in prison.

Morris is charged in a similar case in Broward County, but faces a manslaughter charge in that case because one of the women injected died after an operation.

Morris' accomplice, Corey Eubanks, pleaded guilty to similar charges in July and was sentenced to one year of probation.
