LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – A person turned up dead in the Middle River canal on Thursday morning in Lauderdale Lakes.
The person’s body was trapped under the road’s platform along Northwest 41st Street near 34th Avenue. A landscape crew’s vehicle was parked near the canal.
According to Veda Coleman-Wright, a spokeswoman for the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the investigation is ongoing.
