SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – A dangerous incident on a busy South Florida street was captured on video by a Local 10 viewer.
While it's not clear if Tuesday's episode near the Miami-Dade College Kendall Campus has been classified as road rage as of yet, witnesses on scene claim that it started with an argument between passengers in two cars.
The incident began during rush hour on Southwest 104th Street, just west of Southwest 107th Avenue.
Witnesses said the man exited a black sedan and jumped onto the hood of the white car after getting into an argument with the driver of a Volkswagen. The driver hit the gas, and even cut off another driver to pull a U-turn from a middle lane, all with a land clinging to the hood.
Another person attempted to pull the man off the car, but was unsuccessful.
Nearby business owners, whose own surveillance video captured the strange sight, were shocked over what they saw.
"It's crazy. I've never seen anything like it," Sebastian Roldan told Local 10. "Someone on top of the car just rolling, that's crazy."
The car sped away, turning into eastbound traffic from the middle lane, and barely avoiding a collision with a black sedan.
The white car continued heading east with the man still on the hood.
"The guy could have fell off the car and gotten hurt or something," said Roldan.
Miami has its share of bad drivers, but this video has surprised many people who've viewed it.
"They're both not very smart.," Alex Rimart said.
Police were notified about the incident, but an official report has not be obtained. They are investigating the incident.
