Complaint Details: ON SITE SALE "We explained to the dealer that we wanted a Rav4, he said that we could get financing for the Highlander which we did not want. Received a call that they got us financing for the Rav4 to come pick it up. When we got there the financing was for the Highlander which we did not want and said we will wait to purchase a car and wanted our money refunded. they said no that it was a charge for doing financing."

Closure Actions: SENT LETTER OF NON-COMPLIANCE

Violations: 501.976(10) DEALER REQUIRED OR ACCEPTED A DEPOSIT FROM A PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMER PRIOR TO ENTERING INTO A BINDING CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE AND SALE OF A VEHICLE WITHOUT GIVING THE CUSTOMER A WRITTEN RECEIPT THAT CLEARLY AND CONSPICUOUSLY STATED HOW LONG THE DEALER WOULD HOLD THE VEHICLE FROM OTHER SALE, THE AMOUNT OF THE DEPOSIT, AND UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS THE DEPOSIT WOULD BE REFUNDABLE OR NONREFUNDABLE.

Date: 12/09/2014

Complaint Details: ON SITE SALE "I never received the buyers order. I went to pay the fees for the dealer to transfer the title and register the car. I asked for an itemized receipt showing what I was paying for, the dealer refused. My temp tag expired on 12-06-14 and they will not issue one and will not give me registration."

Closure Actions: SENT LETTER OF NON-COMPLIANCE

Violations: 319.23(6) DEALER DID NOT APPLY FOR AND OBTAIN TITLE IN CUSTOMER'S NAME WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM DATE OF DELIVERY.

Complaint Details: ON SITE SALE "I went to the dealership to look at some cars that were advertised, I was told I need to put dow a deposit for him to look into a bank approval for financing. I agreed but was under the impression that if I did not get the car I would get my money back since I did not get approved."

Complaint Details: ON SITE SALE "Gave the dealer 500.00 deposit, while we trying to get financing and deciding if we were going to purchase a car. Never signed or promised to purchase a car we were just looking."

"CE Seays-Stallings contacted the dealership and spoke to Mr. Hese who stated the complainant can visit the dealership on Monday 2/16/15/ between 3:00PM and 6:00PM to pick up the full refund of $500.00."

Complaint Details: ON SITE SALE "But a deposit down of 1100.00 and purchased insurance. Realized that I was not able to afford the car I never took possession but the dealer did get financing for the car. And now refused to talk to me. "

Complaint Details: ON SITE SALE "When I went to the dealership I made it known that I only wanted to spend 8000.00, the salesmans showed me cars with no prices on them and I kept reminding him that 8000.00 was my limit. I decided on a infi 2004 he told me I had to put down 1700.00 which I did and I had to sign some papers. When I saw the contract it showed 9999.99 and I told him no way I want my money refunded. He will not refund my money."

03/04/2015: "CE Rodriguez discussed the complaint with Field Supervisor (FS) Debra Moye. FS Moye called Mr. Amuial and he stated that he had already refunded $1,100.00 but was willing to refund the rest…FS Moye received a facsimile from Mr. Amuial stating that a refund will be issued immediately."

Complaint Details: ON SIDE SALE "The dealership used a bait and witch tactic on me. The price of the vehicle is not listed on the contract. The dealership also lied to the financial institution about how much I put down of the car. They said they did so I could get financing which I did not get anyway. They also deceived me about the interest rate. I returned the car and gave them the keys only because they said they would return my money. Once they got the keys they refuse to refund the money."

Complaint Details: ON SITE SALE "I told the dealer that I needed a vehicle that was in good running condition, explaining to him that I was retired and only had a certain amount of money for a car. Driving home the signal did not work and a second key. Driving the car back to the dealership there was a noise form the rear, the mechanic at the shop said it was a bearing. Since it was a holiday They said to bring it back after and they would fix it but the battery was dead. I told them if they did not fix the car I no longer wanted it."
