House catches fire in Deerfield Beach

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – A house caught fire Thursday in Deerfield Beach, displacing at least three adults who live there, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles said.

The fire was reported in the morning at a home in the 300 block of Northwest Fourth Place.

Sky 10 was above the scene at 10:30 a.m. and saw the side of the home and parts of the roof charred or damaged from the smoke.

Jachles said the American Red Cross was called in to help the displaced family.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
