HIALEAH, Fla. – A part-time police dispatcher in Hialeah faces child sexual battery charges in Broward County.
The Broward Sheriff's Office arrested 51-year-old Alan Voorhees on Monday. He was charged with four counts of sexual battery on a victim under 12 years old and three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim less than 12 years old.

Voorhees retired from the Hialeah Police Department in June of 2013 after working there for 19 years, said spokesman Carl Zogby. Voorhees was then contracted as a police dispatcher by a temporary staffing agency.
Voorhees has since been terminated.
Details of his arrest weren't immediately available.
