PLANTATION, Fla. – A student has been arrested after he created a fake Twitter account and threatened to bomb South Plantation High School, police said.
According to the arrest report, Andrew Leacock, 18, tweeted several threatening messages on Wednesday, including, "They call me a school shooter anyway so I might as well live up to that name (South Plantation)," "BTW none of you are safe," "Bye and (expletive) you all," "Soon the laughter will cease," "I pick who lives I pick who doesn't," "Next time you see me these pipe bombs will be blowing," and "Time is ticking."

Leacock allegedly indicated in the tweets that he would bomb the school at 10:45 a.m. Thursday.
Police said Leacock admitted to creating the Twitter account and posting the messages. He said he used the name of a classmate in his third-period chemistry class, who he said fits the stereotype of a "school bomber."
As a precaution, Plantation police and school authorities swept the building before classes began Thursday. Nothing suspicious was found in the school.
Leacock is charged with one count of making a false report of planting a bomb, explosive or weapon of mass destruction.
