MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – Miami-Dade County adopted legislation Tuesday that will keep red light cameras out of unincorporated Miami-Dade

The law strikes down 2010-2011 policy that allowed the red light camera program in the area.

"These cameras have become a source of tension throughout our community," Miami-Dade County Commissioner Rebeca Sosa said. 

The move does not affect red light camera programs in municipalities.
