The data compiled by the insurance company QuoteWizard shows drivers in the Sunshine State trail only those from tiny Rhode Island when it comes to the best in the U.S.
In fact, the survey says that Hialeah and Miami drivers actually contributed to the high honors. Seriously.
QuoteWizard based their rankings on calculations using total accidents, speeding tickets, DUI's, citations and fatalities.
Florida would have been number one if its traffic fatalities hadn't been so high.
Of course, if motorists driving without insurance were factored into the equation, Florida's 24-percent uninsured rate would have sunk the ranking like a rock.
According to the data, the worst drivers are in Utah, California and Virginia.
