FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A judge sided with the Broward supervisor of elections Friday after the National Organization to Reform Marijuana Laws sued to ensure that Dr. Brenda Snipes took more measures to ensure that voters had the Amendment 2 question on their ballots.
The lawsuit came after the Broward elections office confirmed that two ballots were mailed without the Amendment 2 question in Oakland Park.

Two other allegations are unconfirmed, and NORML claims that there could potentially be more in the future.
While Snipes has rectified the vote for those who came forward with bad ballots, NORML wants the court to compel her to do more by tracing and confirming the error, fixing the problem and advertising to voters to be alert for potential defects.
Snipes said her office is already taking active measures.
"We don't have a long soliloquy here, but we are taking active measures throughout the day, every day," Snipes said in court on Thursday.
The judge ruled in Snipes' favor Friday, saying that the elections office has actively taken measures to ensure that the faulty ballots were corrected and resent to voters and that measures are being taken to ensure that it doesn't happen again.
