According to an April 17, 2014, federal indictment, Dozier and two co-defendants -- Reinaldo Whylly and Leonard Johnson -- smuggled marijuana in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties between January and February 2013.

According to Broward County Public Schools records, Dozier is an intensive pre-kindergarten teacher at Dania Elementary in Dania Beach.

Dozier "has been administratively reassigned to a work location away from students" pending a school police investigation, Broward County Public Schools spokeswoman Nadine Drew told Local 10 News in a statement Monday.

Local 10 also placed a telephone call to Dozier's attorney seeking comment.

If convicted, Dozier faces up to 40 years in prison on each count.
