Castro was arrested Friday morning in Miami-Dade County, where she lives.

Jupiter police said Dominic Caprio was reported missing last Thursday. Police said Dominic's mother left him at home with Castro, but when she returned an hour later, they were gone.

Police said Dominic, who was thought to have been traveling with his grandparents, Elizabeth and Luis Caprio, was back at home with his mother hours after Castro's arrest.

The circumstances surrounding Castro's disappearance and Caprio's involvement remain unclear.

Court records show that her bond was set at $250,000. Under the terms of her bond, Castro must surrender her passport and all other travel documents before she is released.

A hearing is set for next month.
