OAKLAND PARK, Fla. ā Broward Sheriff's Office deputies are trying to find the third suspect in an attempted burglary at an Oakland Park business earlier this month.
Gabriella Rigg has been identified as one of three suspects who couldn't break the lock during the attempted burglary Jan. 2 at 514 NE 33rd St.
Two other suspects, Diego Velasquez and Taylor Wesson, have been arrested.
BSO spokeswoman Joy Oglesby said the trio used a pry bar, a sledgehammer and a gun to try to break the lock, but they were unsuccessful.
Surveillance video released Friday shows a woman, identified as Rigg, standing outside a Toyota SUV in which the would-be burglars pulled up close to the door and used to make their getaway.
The victim, Scott Stern, told Local 10 News reporter Andrew Perez that he knows Rigg.
"She knows I have cameras and knows I'm recording. She knows it's monitored," he said.
Stern said things would have ended differently if he would have been inside.
"I open the door with a gun in my hand," he said. "So if they would have actually engaged me, I would have probably had to shoot all three of them."
Oglesby said Rigg's last known address was in Fort Lauderdale.
Anyone with information about Rigg's whereabouts is asked to call detectives or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
