Fort Lauderdale police searching for hit-and-run driver

Crash took place April 8 off Broward Boulevard

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale police are searching for a man who they say was involved in a hit-and-run crash on April 8.

Alejandro Ramirez was struck at about 3:30 a.m. in the 700 block of West Broward Boulevard, police said.

The driver then fled in a white, 2004 to 2008, Acura TSX, believed to have front, passenger side damage, police said.

Ramirez was hospitalized with non-life -threatening injuries. 

Police believe the vehicle has extensive front-end damage on the right side.
