WILTON MANORS, Fla. – Police said Saturday they caught a burglar who used power tools to break holes into the concrete walls of businesses in Broward County.
The holes were big enough for him to enter and exit with the goods and cash he was stealing, Wilton Manors Police Officer Jennifer Bichardt said.

Detectives said they noticed Stephen Szanyi, 57, preferred the Wilton Manors neighborhood and he worked at night. But his tactics ended Thursday when he was arrested, police said.
Szanyi stands accused of a March 5th burglary at the Texaco Gas Station, 2425 Wilton Dr., and a March 31st burglary at the Poverello Center - Food Bank, 2056 N. Dixie Highway.
Prosecutors charged Szanyi with two counts of burglary of a dwelling, causing over $1,000 in damage, two counts of possession of burglary tools and one count of grand theft of more than $300, but less than $5,000. He was at Broward County Sheriff's Office Main Jail Saturday.
