OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – Two people were shot early Friday at an apartment complex in Oakland Park, authorities said.
Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said the shooting was reported just after midnight at an apartment complex at 212 Lakeview Drive.
Detectives found one man shot to death inside an apartment. Another man had been shot outside the apartment.
He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, deputies said.
Detectives have not released the surviving victim's name because of safety concerns. The deceased victim was identified as Eric McNair, 30, of Fort Lauderdale.
No description has been released about the shooter, but authorities said the culprit or culprits fled in a white Range Rover that was recovered later in the day.
