HIALEAH, Fla. – Crews worked Saturday evening to put out a fire at a large warehouse in Hialeah, fire officials said.

The fire broke out Saturday evening at a warehouse in the 1800 block of West Eighth Avenue.

Officials said heavy smoke could be seen coming from the warehouse and its roof was being ventilated for visibility.

No one was inside at the time fire rescue crews arrived and no injuries have been reported, officials said.

The cause of the fire will be investigated once the scene is stabilized and made safe for investigators to enter, according to the Hialeah Fire Department.
