FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A man who was pulled from the water after falling off a boat Sunday near Fort Lauderdale has died.
Fort Lauderdale police Sgt. DeAnna Greenlaw identified the victim Monday as Anthony Brown, 46, of Coral Springs.
Greenlaw said Brown fell overboard while trying to secure his boat to the dock.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue divers pulled Brown from the water, but he was unresponsive.
Brown was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Greenlaw said no foul play is suspected.
