HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – One child was injured in a house fire in Hallandale Beach Tuesday afternoon.

The fire was reported shortly after 5 p.m. at 729 SW Fourth Court.

A Hallandale Beach Fire Rescue representative said three children were at the home with their grandparents when the fire started.

One of the children was burned on the foot, but was treated at the scene and did not have to go to a hospital.

No one else was injured in the fire.

Authorities said the family will most likely not be able to stay in their home Tuesday night. The American Red Cross was called in to help the family.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
