POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Deputies are investigating a fatal shooting in Pompano Beach.
The shooting was reported Thursday afternoon at a home at 130 NE 25 St.
Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Joy Oglesby said deputies arrived and found a man dead inside the home.
The man's body was removed from the home later that evening.
"We live across the street from the ghetto, so it's not the safest place on the planet, but, you know, all the neighbors are nice people," neighbor Mariceli Batista told Local 10 News.
The victim's identity was not immediately released, pending notification of next-of-kin.
