MARGATE, Fla. – Police are investigating after a body was found floating in a canal behind homes in Margate.
Sky 10 was above the 900 block of Northwest 69th Terrace shortly before 11:30 a.m. as authorities were removing the body from the water.

The body appeared to be that of an adult man, and appeared to have trauma to the face.
Circumstances leading up to the man's death were not immediately known.
