Baptist Hospital medical arts building evacuated after bomb threat

SOUTH MIAMI, Fla. – A building on the Baptist Hospital campus was evacuated Monday morning because of a bomb threat.

Miami-Dade police said someone made a threatening telephone call to the hospital.

Sky 10 was above the scene as workers waited outside the hospital for police to inspect the medical arts building.

"Miami-Dade police evaluated the threat and determined it was not credible," hospital spokeswoman Dori Robau Alvarez said.

Everyone was allowed back inside shortly after 10:30 a.m.
