MIAMI – An American Airlines flight that was headed to Miami from Bogota, Colombia, made an unscheduled landing Monday night.
American Airlines Flight 916 made an unscheduled landing at the airport in Kingston, Jamaica, because of a "maintenance issue," flight officials said.

The Boeing 767B with 197 people on board was at the airport Monday night in Kingston while mechanics looked over the place.
American Airlines did not have a time when the passengers will arrive in Miami.
