U.S. Postal Inspection Service releases sketches of men

MIAMI ā€“ A reward of up to $50,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two men wanted in two postal carrier robberies last week.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service said the men are being sought in connection with two armed robberies about 20 minutes apart in Coral Springs and Tamarac.

Inspectors released sketches of the men Friday.

The first robbery occurred about 4:50 p.m. March 13 on Northwest 116th Terrace in Coral Springs. The second robbery occurred about 5:10 p.m. at the Concord Village condominiums on University Drive in Tamarac.

"I feel afraid because he can do anything to anybody," said a woman who lives in the Coral Springs neighborhood where the first robbery occurred.

In the Coral Springs robbery, a vehicle key was stolen, while a master key was stolen in the Tamarac robbery.

U.S. postal inspectors posted flyers in the neighborhoods asking residents to be on the lookout for the robbers.
