PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A 13-foot alligator was killed Saturday in a gator hunt at the same Florida farm where another large gator was captured in April.

Outwest Farms on Sunday posted a picture on Facebook of the dead gator and the hunter's son posing with the carcass.

The gator was caught by Cliff Lightsey, who was guiding a group of hunters at the Venus farm.

Lee Lightsey, who owns the farm, told Local 10 News that he was grateful the gator was caught before it got to any of his cattle.

Cliff Lightsey's 5-year-old son, Cooper Lightsey, posed for a photograph next to the dead gator. Several cows could be seen in the background.

An alligator that measured just shy of 15 feet was killed in a gator hunt at the farm in April.

According to a reply by Outwest Farms on the Facebook post's comments, the gator could fetch as much as $10,000.
