POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – About 125 people were evacuated from a Pompano Beach warehouse Tuesday as the Pompano Beach Fire Rescue worked to extinguish a fire.
A hazmat crew responded to the scene at 1381 SW 30th Ave. due to the metal products that started the fire, according to fire officials.

Firefighters used metal fire extinguishing agents to terminate the fire since water or foam wouldn’t work with that type of fire, Pompano Fire Rescue said.
