WEST PARK, Fla. – Two men have been arrested after a shooting at a West Park strip club that left one man dead Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened at the Playhouse Gentlemen's Club, 5775 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd.
Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Gina Carter said the victim, identified as Patrick Clark, 40, had gotten into an argument with a group of people at the club and was shot in the parking lot by Roy Stewart, 25, and Burton Harjo, 46. Clark died at the scene.
Carter said one bullet went through the doors of the club and struck an employee in the wrist. The woman suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Stewart and Harjo were identified as the suspects and arrested after detectives interviewed more than 20 patrons and employees at the club.
Carter said Stewart has nine prior arrests in Broward County on charges including aggravated battery, burglary, criminal mischief and trafficking oxycodone, to name a few.
Harjo has 14 prior arrests in Broward County on charges that include aggravated assault with a firearm, battery, cocaine possession and DUI, to name a few.
Stewart and Harjo have face charges of first-degree murder.
