Brodes Hartley, Jr., president and CEO of Community Health of South Florida, said they rushed to reopen the center, because after the storm there was limited access to medical care.
"We are part of the fabric of the Keys and need to be part of the rebuilding of their lives," Hartley said in a statement.
The Tavernier Health Center re-opened last week at 91200 Overseas Highway. For more information or to make an appointment, call 786-272-2100.
