MIAMI – As federal authorities investigate Zika virus cases in Miami-Dade and Broward counties that may not be related to traveling to countries dealing with the disease, state authorities' reports keep on climbing.
There were 364 Zika virus cases in Florida that were travel related, according to Tuesday's report from The Florida Department of Health.

Out of the 364 confirmed cases of the disease -- which spreads through mosquito bites and unprotected sex -- 315 cases did not involve pregnant women.
The report included 49 cases of pregnant women experiencing different symptoms. In Florida, one woman with the Zika virus gave birth to a baby with microcephaly, a "small head" condition linked to abnormal brain development.
As the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention continues to investigate the South Florida cases, state authorities said Tuesday that Florida has the capacity to test about 4,770 for the Zika virus and about 2,130 for the antibodies.
