MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A South Florida woman was arrested on Valentine's Day, weeks after she began calling police to report that her supposed fiance, Sean "Diddy" Combs,  was being beaten and held hostage by relatives, authorities said.

Miami Beach police responded Jan. 23 to the hip-hop mogul's home after they said Jermelah Jones, 35, called authorities multiple times, claiming that Combs was in danger.

Officers said they spoke to several relatives at Combs' home, who told them that Combs was sleeping in his bedroom.

Combs, who is also known by his stage names, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy and Diddy, woke up and told officers that he didn't know Jones, an arrest report said.

Police contacted Jones and warned her not to make further false reports to police.

Police said Jones continued to call non-emergency police numbers and 911 for several days, claiming that Combs was in danger.

Police said they spoke to Jones again on Jan. 26 and told her that Combs was in perfect health and had told officers that he did not know her.

Jones told the detectives that she understood that making false reports is a crime and said she would not call police again to make false reports about Combs being held against his will, the report said.

But police said Jones waited just several days to once again call authorities to report that Combs was being held against his will.

According to the arrest report, Jones made a final false report on Feb. 6 and later went to Combs' home and attempted to gain access to his property.

Jones was arrested Tuesday and told officers that she has been in a relationship with Combs for a few months, the report said.

Police said that although Jones claimed to be Combs' fiancee, she could not recall any personal information about him.

Authorities said Jones also told them that she had "been recruited by the devil and his people."

She faces a charge of making a false report to law enforcement.
