MIAMI – The Paddy's Day Festival started Monday and continued at 7 a.m., Tuesday in Miami's Brickell neighborhood with the $10 "Kegs and Eggs" breakfast.
For the last four years, Fado Irish Pub, 900 S. Miami Ave., has been helping to organize the event. They have been serving tavern favorites inside their pub and focused on what they call the "highest quality of draught beer experience."
At 2 p.m., the doors opened (the 21 and over crowd needed a wrist band) for the $10 cover outdoor party on South Miami Ave. There were cocktail stations and bars.
The music line up in the morning included Ladies of Longford and These Guys Live. In the afternoon, the line up included Cyril Scott Pipes & Drums, The Reaganomics, 1988 the band, and The Spazmatics.
The Irwin Academy of Irish Dance performers will be showing off their skills sporadically through the day.
Fado's management warned that there would be limited street parking and suggested the Mary Brickell Village, 901 S. Miami Ave., parking garage as the most convenient location. Expect to pay between $2 to $15. Publix validates the first 2 hours of parking for customers.

More expensive parking options include the 1200 Brickell Avenue parking garage, open until 9 p.m., for $4 an hour at a maximum of $20. And the 1111 Brickell Avenue garage, which is open 24 hours, charges $8 an hour with a a maximum of $36.
The City of Miami's public transportation: Metro Mover works until midnight and the Trolley until 11 p.m. Both are free and make stops in the area of the festival.

Some lucky revelers were planning ahead and scheduling their Uber, or Yellow cab it pick-ups after midnight.
There was plenty of "Paddy's Punch" -- the traditional Irish whiskey Tullamore D.E.W. signature cocktail -- to know that revelers are better off having a safe exit plan ahead of the party. There was also a full supply of $2 Budweiser and Bushmill's Irish Whiskey.
