LOS ANGELES – The so-called "bad boy" of the ballroom, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, is coming back to Dancing With The Stars for season 18, according to US magazine.

Chmerkovskiy took a two-season break to pursue other projects like acting. He returned to the ballroom last season as a pecial guest judge.
Season 18 will debut with some changes. Brooke Burke-Charvet is out as co-host with Tom Bergeron after eight seasons. Fox Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews, who was also Chmerkovskiy's partner in season 11 of DWTS, is now in.
The show's 28-member band that was headed by music director Harold Wheeler, has also been axed. It will be replaced by sound recordings and a "small electric band" to attract a younger demographic.
Tune into Good Morning America Tuesday, Mar. 4 to find out which celebrities will be competing for the mirrorball trophy.
