EL PORTAL, Fla. – A fight Thursday in the lunch room at an El Portal school prompted a large police presence.
Sky 10 flew above Horace Mann Middle School, where several police cars were seen parked on or just outside campus.
A Miami-Dade County Public Schools spokesman said eight students were briefly detained after getting into a fight in the lunch room.
Police said no arrests were made.
No serious injuries were reported.
