Subway plans to switch to Pepsi in 2025

National sandwich restaurant chain Subway is making a big change in 2025.

On Tuesday, Subway announced it signed a decade long contract with PepsiCo.

When the clock strikes midnight on Jan. 1, 2025, Subway restaurants in the U.S. will start serving Pepsi products.

Under the new agreement, beverages will include Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar, MTN DEW, Starry, Tropicana, Lipton, Aquafina, and Gatorade. Subway franchisees will also have the option to offer a larger selection of Gatorade beverages.

“The partnership with PepsiCo is an exciting milestone in our journey to become America’s favorite place to eat, drink and work,” said Doug Fry, President of Subway, North America.

PepsiCo is also the current Subway beverage provider in several regions around the world, including Canada, Germany, the Nordics, and the Netherlands.
